IGEN 3D Printing is also open to Design Teams and Research Groups.

Unfortunately due to the inability to process finances, we are operating on a barter basis for material usage. The service itself is free.

The general process applies with the addition of the following:

• As the service is prioritized for IGEN students, printer availability would be allocated to IGEN requests queue first. Please email the 3D printing manager with a courteous explanation for the need of prioritizing your request instead.
• We kindly ask you to drop off material (filament spools, resin, etc.) before submitting a request. If the request is urgent and our inventory permits, we can assign a whole unit of material (i.e. a new spool of filament or a new bottle of resin) for your group on loan, while you acquire and trade material with us. Additional requests aside from the initial one cannot be made until a new unit of material is provided.

TL;DR: Design teams, research groups, and non-IGEN students must provide materials, though the service itself is free. We can provide a loan of one spool if you cannot provide one immediately.
